- This pump looks the same externally as fuel pumps from fuel injection engines, but the small end is threaded (fuel injection pumps are not threaded on the small end). This fuel pump is from carburated engines and will not interchange with fuel pumps for fuel injection engines
- This is the low pressure pump that is threaded on the small outlet end. The high pressure pump looks similar but is not threaded on the small outlet end. The high pressure pump is enclosed in the 'cool fuel' assembly and this will not fit work in that asembly. Low pressure pumps are not in any assembly
- Boat fuel pumps carry fuel from the gas tank directly to individual engine cylinders. To ensure great combustion and quick starts, this operation is performed under high pressure. Over time, your fuel pump may wear out and require replacement
